The chicken coop is a down home old school restaurant that is near downtown costa mesa but hidden amongst a neighborhood in newport beach. i have been here two times. i have been impressed both times. i ordered the potpourri (shrimp, clams, mussels, with cheese) which was very filling and delicious. i also decided to order the fish and chips.
